Today’s image is from the Pike Place Market in Seattle:

Aside from being a really good open-air market, with some fantastic food for sale, Pike Place is an absolute wonderland for a photographer. Lots of colors, shapes, and textures. I had fun with the depth of field on this one…
This image is also up on Flickr, and in the gallery as well (should you like it enough that you’d like to buy a copy…).

Hey Argos, thanks for your comments and recent visit to my blog. Hugs and kisses for Matthew accepted. Nice photo, good prices and btw I love fruit. Latest craving is the watermelon. This is really nice photo, well composed. Anna

Awesome colors. I love how the fruit is blurry in the background as it gives the impression that the fruit goes on forever.

Thanks, Anna & Andy — glad you like it! The never-ending-fruit-buffet effect is just what I was looking for.
Watermelon cravings? I thought the cravings were supposed to end once the baby’s born… Ah well, at least it’s a craving for something healthy!
