Old Dog Photography

I know this is “just another sunset picture,” but I like it:

My daughter (“the pup”) and I were out walking the dog the other night — and as I’m learning to do, I had the camera hanging off my neck. So when I saw this scene on our way home, I just had to grab a few shots of it.

FWIW, I’ve done almost no post-processing on this image — just the usual cleanup that Aperture will do for you. Maybe it’s the subtle palette of colors, maybe it’s the nice scattering of contrast across the image, but I really like this.
