A silly pun to go along with another shot from the lotus section of the Missouri Botanical Garden in St. Louis, Missouri.

Amazing thing, a lotus blossom. They’re large enough and open slowly enough to give you lots of angles and perspectives to shoot them from. Meanwhile they seem to be incredibly popular. This image, as have all the pictures I’ve taken of lotus blossoms, made it into Flickr’s Explore (top 500 images of the day) without much effort on my part.
