I have a confession to make — I get a laugh out of cheesy, campy stuff. Here’s one side of a huge rack of shot glasses at the Cocoa Beach, Florida Ron Jon’s store (I liked the geometry of this):
If you’ve never seen one, Ron Jon’s is a beachware shop — they have stores here and there on the U.S. East coast (and one in California), and all are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Just in case you feel the urge to buy a surfboard at 3 a.m., you know…

Haha, interesting subject and great perspective of it all. I especially like the break in continuity at Marco in the name tags.

I love those places. I think its funny that like hard rock cafe everyone feels like they need to go there and get a t-shirt or in this case a mug to prove they were somewhere cooler than the rest of us.

Thanks, Christine!
Paunchiness — for Hard Rock, I’ll buy the “coolness” thing. For places like Ron Jon’s, I think it’s just because it’s such an incredibly silly spot.

any idea if we can buy one of these online? It doesn’t seem to show up on their website

Chris — I don’t think so (although if you called them up with a credit card number, they might sell you one over the phone). All I could find on their website was the branded shot glasses — none with anybody’s names on them.
