Old Dog Photography

Another L.A. shot, also from the Griffith Observatory:

This was somewhat experimental — I primarily wanted to capture the darkening sky, but also some of the people looking out from the East Observation Terrace. The clouds turned out a bit darker than I would have liked, but my choice of subject matter somewhat tied my hands. While using HDR for this would have brought out the clouds (and toned down the building lights a bit), it wouldn’t have worked well overall due to the (sporadically moving) people.

As for the title, that little white dot over the planetarium dome is Venus…
