Blue-green bokeh

So while I was at the Avs / Red Wings game, I decided to get a little experimental during one of the breaks. Here’s a shot I took of the LED strip sign that rings the walls:

I definitely think this looks better than its in-focus cousin:

And these show just a small part of this display that goes all the way around:

I wonder if anybody’s ever counted all the LEDs in the place. Given how expensive a super-bright LED is, and how the 3-LED clusters are maybe an inch apart, I can’t even imagine how much it cost to put up this strip. Then, of course, there’s all the wiring and computer control to drive it, etc.

Just mind boggling for an in-house light show…
