Yesterday, I took “the pup” to this year’s Denver Auto Show. It’s always a hit with the smaller set, they can sit in all sorts of cars & trucks and pretend to drive. Oh yes, and their parents can, too.
I was pleasantly surprised to see a pretty good crowd at this year’s show — maybe people aren’t feeling so down on the economy after all. Or maybe they’re just looking for cheap entertainment?
At any rate, I took some of my camera gear along on the theory that there could be some interesting things to see and capture. Here’s one thing I saw, at least *I* think it looks like a creature’s eye:
Pretty sharp looking, but then you’d expect that — it’s on the front of this impressive piece of gear:

It’s the 2010 Audi R8 — and it’s a beauty. You can have one just like it, for a mere $136,000 (cough… cough…). You can see it drew a good crowd, but no — you can’t sit in it, and no — you can’t touch it.
I don’t know about you, but we won’t be in the market for one of these any time soon…
