If you’ve been following my Flickr stream, you may have noticed that our recent Canada trip wasn’t exactly blessed with the best weather. Most of the time, we experienced conditions more in line with what you’d expect for Spring in the Maritimes — cool and wet. While this didn’t make some of our hikes a whole lot of fun, it did provide nice atmospherics for photography.
For instance, there was this quick glimpse of a lobster boat setting its traps just offshore of Nova Scotia:
And then too, this nice droplet shot in a park in Liverpool, Nova Scotia:
But it wasn’t all rain and fog — I managed to capture this colorful sunset on the ferry between Nova Scotia and Newfoundland:
More to come…

That stinks about the weather on your trip.
Looks like you made the best of it though. Love the fog shot with the boat hidden in the mist and the shot of the spiderweb gleaming with the raindrops!

Great, great capture on the web with its raindrops… A jewel lost in the landscape…
