Sometimes you’ll run into impromptu car shows in the oddest places. On a recent vacation, we stumbled across a group of classic car collectors in the parking lot of the Acadia National Park visitors’ center. As they headed out, the rest of us got an impromptu parade — here’s the hood ornament from one of the cars:

And of course, there’s the car itself:

I’m still amazed at the fantastic condition of these cars, particularly given the climate they spend their days in.
