It’s been ages since I uploaded an “Attention Deficit Theater” video, so this is long overdue:
This is a clip from Thunder Hole, in Acadia National Park in Maine. Thunder Hole is a pretty amazing place — it’s a spot where years of wave action have eroded a cavern in the cliff face. When a big wave comes in, it compresses air in the “hole” and you hear a loud rumble that (as you might have guessed) sounds a lot like thunder.
Occasionally, people also get washed out to sea here — so you need to be paying attention to the conditions…
