A vignette seen at the Butterfly Pavilion in Westminster, Colorado:

When we happened by, the butterfly in the middle was comfortably sitting on the leaf, while his neighbors (top & bottom) were unsuccessfully trying to shoo him off. I suspect the nearly-stationary one may have been ill (he just wasn’t as “flighty” as you’d expect a butterfly to be), but not being a butterfly expert, who knows…
